what is the ETA and how is it calculated? ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival.
In a professional enviroment, ETA is the second most important function in GPS software. The most important, of course, is to make sure that the driver reaches his destination.
The drive time (or ETA) is the basis for most transportation planning tasks. That´s why we constantly analyse and validate target/ actual measurements for you to optimize our ETA calculation. This allows MapTrip to predict your arrival time as precisely and accurately as possible.
In this video, we will show you which factors all play a role in the ETA calculation. And also how (especially for short routes) deviations can still occur, even though MapTrip works with the best traffic data (live and statistical).
