Speakers Series: Catholic Ethics and AI
Thursday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom
The Saint Jude Speakers Series invites you to discover the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and the Catholic Church with a presentation by guest speaker Dr. Gerald Magill. His presentation is entitled "Catholic Ethics and Artificial Intelligence in a Technologically Transforming World: The Dynamic Leadership of Pope Francis." A Q&A session will follow. The Cencacle - Life in the Spirit Seminar
Thursdays in May, 6:30 - 8 p.m. | Sacred Heart Auditorium
Saturday, May 22, 6 - 8 p.m. Prayer Vigil | St. Raphael Church
Each seminar will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Auditorium and consist of time for fellowship, a talk by a guest speaker, and small group discussion. Seminars are held on Thursdays, May 6, 13, 20 and 27. A Pentecost Prayer Vigil will be held Saturday, May 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Join others for a time of adoration, praise and worship, and prayer ministry followed by a bonfire in the side yard to celebrate this great feast!

Allegheny Catholic Theater at St. Jude Parish
St. Jude Parish is exploring the creation of a theatre organization. With a fully equipped stage in Sacred Heart’s Auditorium, the parish has a unique opportunity to house performances with minimal investment. As vaccinations become more common, we aim to create live experiences for both the Parish and Pittsburgh community. Live performance also requires a certain special ingredient for it to work: people! If you’re interested in being an actor, costumer, stagehand (i.e., lighting, setdesign, audio, etc.), director, a playscript screener, or any other theatre role please get in touch!
