In early 2020, Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute launched the Data Hub, a resource for current and historical public policy data on Las Vegas, the State of Nevada, and the Mountain West region. The Data Hub provides policymakers, legislators, researchers, students and faculty, and the general public with electronic access to data and information on a wide range of public policy topics.

The Data Hub now contains more than 100 Fact Sheets and interactive resources prepared by faculty, staff, and students at Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute. UNLV student researchers are essential contributors to Data Hub publications, and our staff is already at work on the next 100 Fact Sheets and resources to add to the Data Hub.
Fact Sheets summarize Nevada and Mountain West related information from lengthy and detailed reports and websites that provide data on all 50 states, all U.S. counties, or hundreds of large, mid-sized, and small cities and metros. Researchers distill and highlight this information, noting its significance for our communities.
