Hi Friend

Even talented, capable, EXTRAordinary people can benefit from the insight and experiences of others. Edie Perkins is a good example. In a recent interview, Edie – a competitive cyclist, executive and mentor, shared how important it is to connect with peers.

Edie firmly contends that “The world may tell you that once you are broken, you will be dependent for the rest of your life ... so, you need to get hooked up with others asap to find out that there are lots of other people just like you!” Edie found a great fit with the wonderful people at the Golden State Chapter of United Spinal Association, Triumph Foundation.

As the new Executive Director of the Kelly Brush Foundation, Edie inspires people living with paralysis to find freedom and independence with an active, engaged lifestyle.

You will undoubtedly enjoy and benefit from reading Edie's Cure Nation article about challenges and victories, pain and humor, plus authentic encouragement to "celebrate Every. Little. Thing".

Upgrade to the Cure Dextra® Closed System

The new Cure Dextra® goes beyond an 'ordinary' closed system to be EXTRAordinary with proprietary features that help make it easier to use:

A Support Band on the back of the bag enables controlled use.

Tip Advancing Technology easily moves the pre-lubricated catheter from the 1000 ml collection bag into the body without contact.

A Gripper Arrow makes it easy to advance the catheter with each forward stroke. It does not retract on back strokes.

The Cure Dextra may be an ideal choice for individuals with limited dexterity or anyone seeking a way to advance toward greater independence. Ask to try samples today!

Educational event and options for parents

Cure Medical is proud to be one of the sponsors of the May 15th Spina Bifida Association virtual education event for parents of children (ages 0 - 18 years) growing up with Spina Bifida.

For information on the event or to register, visit sbevents.org
Parents are invited to request samples of the Cure Catheter® hydrophilic and uncoated intermittent catheters for their child to try at no charge. They feature polished eyelets for comfort and are not made with DEHP/DINP, BPA or NR-Latex.

Like the Spina Bifida Association, Cure Medical sees great value in education. When requesting pediatric catheter samples, parents are welcome to also request a free backpack with educational materials, such as flash cards and a color book, designed to help parents teach their child 'How To Cath'.

"Your catheter is easily the best, easy to use, painless and quick.
Back to normal life!"
