Winnetka's Connection to Village Businesses and Events
Restaurant Revitalizations Fund will open soonRestaurant Revitalization Fund Will Offer Grants Up to $5 Million
The Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) will open soon. A federally funded grant program, the fund supports restaurants that have suffered significant pandemic-related revenue losses. Restaurant owners who are women, veterans, and socially or economically disadvantaged will have their applications prioritized for the first 21 days of the program.

The grant may provide funding of up to $5,000,000 per location for applicants who meet certain conditions, not to exceed $10,000,000 total for the applicant and any affiliated businesses. The minimum award will be $1,000. Funds must be used by March 11, 2023. It is a first come, first serve program.

Before the program opens, applicants should become familiar with the application and begin gathering materials to apply as soon as the program opens. The program is administered by the Small Business Administration.

Find more information about the program on the Village's website and the SBA website. Sign up for alerts on the SBA's website.
PPP Funds Still Available
The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is still available. Applications are open through the end of May 2021, but please check with your lender to determine if earlier deadlines are applied. You can still apply if:
  • You are a first-time applicant and meet program requirements that include lost income in 2020 and 2019.
  • Your business has already received the PPP and has not yet applied for a second draw.
More information is available on the SBA's website. For more information on the PPP loans or to find a local lender, visit the Village's website.
