NaFFAA partners with Tarjimly for Humanitarian Volunteer Work From Home

How you can help in your own little ways? If you can read this, you can help. Tarjimly's free language access app can help provide Filipinos worldwide with the language access needed to meet their needs.

Tarjimly is looking for multilinguals to volunteer on a flexible basis from your phones to provide on-demand interpretation and translation for those in need.

A message from NaFFAA partner @tarjimly:

In times of global crisis, we aim to always search for ways to respond and help our communities in need. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread globally, social distancing makes it harder to help vulnerable communities. Tarjimly is a nonprofit that is helping people in need with remote translation. Their mission is to eliminate language barriers, especially for refugees, immigrants, health workers, and humanitarians, by mobilizing 1 million volunteer translators.

Translation needs can be anything from a simple WhatsApp message, to an immigration interview, to interpreting for health workers battling COVID-19.

If you are multilingual, you can sign up as a volunteer translator by downloading the Tarjimly app on your phone. Tarjimly beneficiaries are especially in need of Filipino speakers, but any language capabilities are welcome.

All skill levels are welcome and there is no time commitment - accept requests when you're free and decline when you aren't.

How to join Tarjimly:  ⬇️ Download the Tarjimly mobile app on iOS or Android Update your profile with your languages and skill levels. That's it! You can start volunteering to translate remotely when you receive a notification and invite your friends with your referral link.If you have any questions, visit the FAQ page or email team@tarjim.ly.

It is more important than ever that our world comes together to volunteer and help. Thank you for joining us in helping translate for humanity!
