The human person is ordered to beatitude by his deliberate acts: the passions or feelings he experiences can dispose him to it and contribute to it.

Is It Really Just Emotions?
Emotions are given to us to help us make decisions in our every day lives. Because we are made good, in the image and likeness of God, we are drawn to the greatest good - love. Our emotions gives us an indication on whether something is morally good or evil. There are many things that can change the way we feel and often these feelings change the way we act and behave. Therefore, it is important for us to learn to order our emotions towards what is good, true and beautiful. This is important. To do this, we are encouraged to strive for virtues. We are called to use our will and reason to grow in self control so that we can love others as we ought.
Below we provide videos and blogs to help you prepare for a meeting exploring emotions and how emotions can help us to better understand who we are called to be.
Holy Role Models We continue to remember St Joseph in this Year of St Joseph. Pope John 23rd declared May 1 as the Feast of St Joseph, the Worker. Click below for the prayer.
