Virtual Program: Farming in the Olden Days

Learn about methods of planting and harvesting wheat, corn and hay. How did labor and equipment advance from the early days to post World II when horse labor was still often in use? Technology improved over time, but still required a considerable amount of human labor as well.

Please register by May 9 to receive the Zoom link via email the day before the program.

Join the City Nature Challenge!

Help document the diversity of plants and wildlife in Boulder County by participating in this year’s nature bioblitz, hosted by iNaturalist. Boulder County teams up with the Denver area each year to try and record as many species of plants and animals as possible.

To participate, sign up through iNaturalist.org and register for the City Nature Challenge which takes places April 30 - May 3. Take photos of as many plants and wildlife as you can find during that period and submit the photos to iNaturalist.

Anyone can participate and any level of photography is acceptable.
