Missed the first one? Not to worry! Rev. Riggs will be hosting another “Reorientation” Zoom meeting on May 20, 2021, at 7:00PM. In this meeting, he will share his top reasons for being in an active, relational partnership with ABCCONN as well as what relational partnership means, how a church can re-establish relational partnership with ABCCONN and, of course, soliciting your feedback and concerns. Registration is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
And there's more! ABCCONN is proud to announce American Baptist Home Mission Societies' Director of Evangelism, Reverend Dr. Jeff Johnson. as the keynote of CLEAR's spring event. The event will be held on May 25th, at 7:00PM. Dr. Johnson will be introducing his Got Style process for evangelism. Great ideas for your Young adult group to reach their community and friends for Christ. Registration will open up next week!
Save the Date!
The Annual Gathering Meeting is scheduled for September 25, 2021. This year's theme is John 17: 23:
"I in them, and You in Me...complete unity."
Volunteer Needed, Here's Why!
Volunteers are to ABCCONN what air is to a body. Volunteers, like air are often unseen, and necessary for proper functioning and without air a body will cease to exist. Likewise, without volunteers ABCCONN will not be able to continue to exist as an efficient and effective ministry.
Perhaps you have been wondering what you could be doing to help our ministry to flourish; pray about volunteering some of your time to ABCCONN.
An important part of our community’s spiritual growth is that we exercise our spiritual gifts. When we volunteer, we become a vital part in helping ABCCONN become the hands and feet of Christ in our community and beyond.
Currently, ABCCONN is looking for someone who wishes to give of their time and talents as the secretary to the Board of Managers and the Executive Committee. This position would be for one year; involving six-eight meetings (approximately two-hours each), which are currently held via ZOOM.
Duties include working with the Executive Minister, President, and Vice-President to create the agenda; drafting, preparing and circulating minutes, and additional responsibilities as needed.

It is our hope that ABCCONN church members who may not otherwise have access to a mission trip, can become involved in mission work and could consider joining the Dominican Republic Mission Team ( see below), Or another mission trip, as approved by our committee.
Please prayerfully consider this opportunity, and help us to spread the word!
