This Sunday we'll celebrate Mother's Day together. As a church we're making donations to both local and global ministries who help women in practical ways while also sharing gospel truth.  A $250.00 donation will be made to Operation Mobilization's initiative to Honor a Mother. Our donation will go toward helping teen moms who were forced to become child brides. Abandoned by their husbands, and facing medical needs, these girls struggle to move forward. Through the provision of medical care, a three-month tailoring course, and the supply of a new sewing machine, they can begin a new life with dignity and hope.  Locally, we will donate $250.00 to be used by Women on Mission toward hosting baby showers for refugees. This opportunity to serve new moms and their families has opened the doors to friendship and gospel conversations. We are thrilled to be able to help both of these faithful ministries and pray that the investment in the lives of young moms will make an impact for eternity. For more information about Operation Mobilization as well as Women on Mission, please see our display in the lobby on Sunday.

Neighborhood Bible Study time is right around the corner! We're hoping you will invite your neighbors to come and learn from God's Word with you this summer. There are three ways for you to be involved:
1. Host a study in your home. You choose the time and day of the week to meet.
2. Partner with a host to lead the study. The host will supply the home and you facilitate the study. God does amazing things through these partnerships each year!
3. Invite and attend. Help the host and leader spread the word in the neighborhood and come alongside women who may be learning from the Bible for the very first time!
Studies will begin the week of July 11th and run through the week of August 8th.
All materials are free. Our study is Mercy in the Storm - A Study on the Book of Jonah from  The Daily Grace Co. You can check it out here. Please email Stephanie if you would like to lead or host this year.
Let's get you registered for our Fall session of Joy! We'll be meeting in person beginning Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 9:30. There will be a Zoom option available. Our focus will be the book of Joshua. We'll be exploring what it means to live a life free of fear as we follow where God leads. You can sign up here. Questions?
