West Junior High Community Carnival makes a splash

Teachers and staff made a big splash in the dunk tank at the West Junior High Community Carnival on April 29. The event was held in tandem with student teacher conferences. From games and food trucks to dog time with Dani the resource dog, there was plenty for carnival attendees to do. More photos

Black Men Teach interns making impact at Eisenhower Elementary

A new partnership with a local nonprofit is paving the way for our scholars of color to see themselves represented in our educators. A critical success indicator of Vision 2031 is that staff demographics reflect the student body. Black Men Teach recruits, prepares and places Black male teachers in elementary schools. We currently have two Black Men Teach interns at Eisenhower Elementary. Their impact has been immeasurable, and they've been extraordinary role models for all our scholars!

Thank you, teachers!
