As a reminder, the commitment fee was also due at the time of registration.

Want to make a payment? You have three options:
1.  Have your student(s) put a check in the white box in the band room.

2.  Mail a check made out to “PBPA” to
Karen Anderson, 2118 Hadfield Ct., Marietta, GA  30062.

3.  Make a payment through PayPal: Log on to Charms and select finances. Select the blue button labeled Make Miscellaneous Payment. A 3.5% processing fee will automatically be added. If you need info to log into Charms, contact Carolyn Menzies - cmenzies.pbpa@gmail.com.

Director Gifts

This has been a CRAZY year, and through it all, our Directors have persevered, regrouped, and thrown so much effort and creativity into making things a success. Despite all the setbacks! Please help us show our appreciation with a donation toward their end-of-year gifts. If you would like to participate, please send in cash or check (made payable to PBPA) in an envelope marked Director Gifts. Have your student place the envelope in the white lock box in the band room. If your students are still virtual, donations can be mailed to Karen Anderson at 2118 Hadfield Court, Marietta, 30062.

Donations must be received by Friday, May 14.

Tuxedo Return - by THIS FRIDAY!

Please remember that all tuxedos must be returned by this Friday, May 14. Students may bring them to the band room and hang them on the appropriate rack. Seniors, please note that diplomas may be withheld if tuxedos are not returned! For returning students, the tuxedos must still be returned so that the fit can be checked in the fall. 

Before you return your tux, you must do the following:

  1. Make sure you are returning the actual tuxedo pants – Yep, sometimes we get plain pants instead of fancy pants!
  2. Remove the hem – If the pants have been shortened, they need to come back to school unhemmed and ready for the next person to use them.
  3. Have the pants and jacket professionally dry cleaned – Tuxedos must be returned in the dry cleaner plastic with the receipt attached.
  4. Write the students name clearly on the receipt – You’ll want to make sure we record your return to the right person!

FLAG SUBSCRIPTIONS for 2021! 

Good news! The American Flag program is back for 2021! Show your love for the USA by becoming a subscriber -- and recruiting neighbors too! A flag will be placed in your yard for five holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, September 11, and Veterans Day. Subscriptions cost only $40 and make a great statement on a 10’ pole! All you do is pay, and the rest is done for you.

Want to do more? In addition to showing your love for the good ol’ USA, you can also show your love for the band! Sign up to help deliver the flags! It only takes about an hour for each install or pickup, and you have flexibility on your timing too! Vehicles need to accommodate a 10’ pole (most SUVs and vans are fine). This is a fun way to get out and serve in the community -- and your kids can help too! Email gypsymims@gmail.com to get started. Thanks for your help!
