Greetings Spinners,

Tuesday's Ride was back to chilly, Spring temperatures but that did not affect the turnout because there was another full complement of bicyclists who attacked the rolling hills NW of the Stateline. Shown below is part of the Spinner group that were still smiling before ascending the notorious Johnson Mountain!!! Thanks much Bryan for the photo.

A hearty "Welcome" to several new riders and hope that they had a good ride and will return again!

There is good news to report on Joel Hable, a long time Spinner who suffered a very severe accident on a road in Canada. Joel has made significant progress and was able to take a short ride on a tandem recumbent bike with our favorite bike shop owner, Greg Wicklund.

Hope the rehab continues to go well, Joel.

Here is an upcoming opportunity for a local ride that Spinner Carl has put together that should be a fun one:

Here is a new ride put together by Spinner Todd commonly known as the FROD Ride...you'll have to ride the ride discern the acronym.

New Stateline Spinners Discussion

Todd Poepping:
FROD 2021 - June 12

“Up to 100 miles, casually deliberate pace. Lunch stop at 63 miles. Looking like we will do the same route and format as last year with Sweet Allyn park as the start, lunch and ending location. Look for a route link in comment thread soon. Start riding at 7:30am. Not feeling the full distance, no problem. Chances are someone else will have a similar distance in mind, so let me know and I can help pair you up and assist with route options if needed. Self supported, no sag. Spread the word.”

Finally, Lon & Sue who run PAC Tours out of Sharon, Wisconsin, have a number of cycling opportunities for 2021. Click here for information on trips that might be of interest: https://pactour.com/
