Sitting Under the Willow Tree

"With regards to me lets begin with a word- Creative- this word has been used about me for as long as I can remember. My favourite time as a young girl would be sitting under the willow tree in my backyard and just write, colour and of course dream. As I got a little older I would “teach” to the neighbourhood kids using the steps up to the porch as desks."

Challenge Four

Our next challenge was from Mosaic artist Kathryn Bossy.
Hanging laundry on the line will always remind me of family. Visiting with my Nanny and Grampa meant sleeping on line-fresh sheets and colourful, often whimsical quilts handmade with love.

Collaborative projects.

After one full rotation of seven challenges with seven artists, the 7 Works Collective moved on to a second phase where we Collaborated on projects. Working "together" during times when we have not been able nor allowed to get together face to face, collaborative projects were a natural second phase.
