May 1 Herring Counters First UCC

Lots of river appreciation, no herring seen. Scientists all ... With questions..

How do the herring get UP that fish ladder ?? we asked as we watched the water rush down the ladder.

How old is the river ? We had some great guesses... '242 BC' .....'Thousands of years' .....'It was carved when the glaciers melted '

When the first people lived on the river, did they polute it too?

Our Objibwe prayer we learned from those who pray as they walk along the Ohio River: Thank you, We are sorry, We love you. We wonder if there is an Agawam prayer for the river.
