DAVID CANTWELL, you would best be described as the Godfather of the Association. Among the offices you’ve held are Director—for more terms than Karen Joy has had husbands and divorces combined, Secretary, and Past President. In fact, you are so popular that you were not even running for office when you were elected President by your fellow Association Members—you were a write-in! Professionally, you have been as committed to the Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® as Johnsie has been committed to a glass-breaking WooWoo, and spandex! Simply put, we appreciate everything you have done for P.S.R.A.R. over these many decades, and your sage advice on the Presidents Council is enthusiastically welcomed. And on a final note, may your iconic and diphthongic (look it up), “Well hi-i,” be memorialized until death do us part—and statistically, you will go first!
