Principal's Update

TRMS Families,

We are down to the final three weeks of school! The students continue to work hard to finish the school year strong. We are very proud of their efforts!

As we progress through the final few weeks of school, please remember to check your email for information and announcements about grade level events. Speaking of which, today we sent out information for our annual Continuation celebration for our 8th grade students. Our Admin Team will also be meeting with all of our 8th graders this coming Monday morning to review the information and answer any questions they have. We always look forward to this fun celebration for our students as we send them off to high school!

8th Grade Track Meet

Trail Ridge's next track meet is on Tuesday, May 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Silver Creek High School. Go Grizzlies!

Garden Club

Parents! The Trail Ridge Garden Club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:00-3:45 p.m. If you are interested in your student learning to grow vegetables, learning about native pollinating flowers, and spending some time outside, join us at the garden after school. If you have any questions, you can email Mrs.Sebring or Mrs.Biddy. Also, you can check out our Facebook Group - just search for Trail Ridge Middle School Gardening Club and ask to join!

8th Grade Continuation Is Coming Up!

Who: Trail Ridge Middle School 8th Graders

What: Continuation is a celebration of our TRMS 8th graders continuing on to high school next year. There will be a formal ceremony and BBQ Picnic. This ceremony will be in-person for students only. We cannot have any spectators present, however, we will be creating a video to be shared with all 8th grade families.

**Dress code is “Sunday Best”, please dress to impress with formal attire. School dress code still applies.

Slacks with a button up shirt, and ties are strongly encouraged
May only wear jeans if part of vaquero dress attire

Spaghetti straps allowed for this event only, please follow district dress code concerning dress length
If questions, please take a picture and ask a teacher
Students may want to bring a change of clothes for BBQ Picnic.

When: Thursday, May 27th

Ceremony: 9:30am - 11:00am

8th Grade Clap-out & BBQ Picnic to follow. Students can be picked up around noon, however they must be signed out by a parent or guardian in person.

Where: Trail Ridge Middle School Gym

Why: Continuation is about celebrating our 8th grade students and preparing to send them off to high school.

Additional News and Notes

The library is asking students to return their overdue library books at this time. All library books will be due by May 13th at the latest.

School Fees: Everyone loves to end the year with a clean slate, right? We’re betting you feel the same way! Please check your Infinite Campus account for any outstanding fees that still remain to be paid. This is particularly important for 8th graders as they will need to have their fees paid prior to starting at their high school of choice.
