Dear Students and Families,

The University has received questions regarding family access during the move out process from residence halls. To provide a balance of safety and to accommodate residents, guests can have access to the Residence Halls to help with their student's move out with:

  1. A copy of a full vaccination (2 weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or 2 weeks after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccination); or
  2. A negative PCR COVID test result submitted no earlier than 5 days prior to arrival.

Copies of a vaccination or negative PCR COVID test can be submitted to reslife@clarkson.edu or studentaffairs@clarkson.edu.

  • Each student is only allowed to have a maximum of 2 guests inside the residence hall to help with the move out process.
  • It is recommended that students should schedule their move out times with their roommates to not have more than 4 people in a single room at a time.
  • Masks must be worn at all times while on campus, even if fully vaccinated. Hand sanitizing, and social distance protocols must be followed at all times while on campus.

All questions can be submitted to reslife@clarkson.edu. Thank you for your cooperation during the past year!

Sincerely,

Troy Lassial
