Hi All,
First, my apologies. I had planned for a survey and zoom this month but our Jazz relaunch and Inspire Live planning had me running! I also will admit that trying to schedule a zoom meeting during the school year with nine teachers in four different time zones made me anxious. I will send a survey monkey for scheduling options moving forward. Summer seems like it could hold some opportunities.
But to the topic at hand - Music Workshop Materials. Below you will find the link to a survey for this month with questions about existing materials, new materials and professional development.
Below that you will find the link for materials for a project. I have put the course materials for three courses - one from genres, instruments and culture each - in a folder on google drive. I would like you to look through them (or as many as you can muster) and track your changes/comments.
Our Goal:
Make the K-2 and 6-8 materials to be more differentiated from the 3-5.
- K-2 - experienced based
- 3-5 - fact based
- 6-8 - require thought and connection
We want to hear from you thoughts on what you think will work or not work in your classroom experience. We really want to hear your thoughts on the materials that go along with the videos and how to augment and improve them. This is your chance.
