Congregational Meeting
Faith will hold its annual congregational meeting on Sunday, May 23 after the 11:00 am service, starting no later than 12:30. The purpose of this meeting is to elect members to the Congregation Council and to approve the combined church and day school 2021-2022 Ministry Plan.

This Sunday Faith Kids worship will be at both the 9am and 11am services!!! Please drop off your child(ren) at the LTTMC before worship. 3rd Grade Bible Presentation
 Getting to grow and learn from the Bible is an important part of every child’s faith formation. This year we will be doing a 3rd grade Bible Presentation. This is for children who are completing 3rd grade in Spring of 2021. (If your child was in 3rd grade last year and did not get one, they can participate as well.) With the presentation on Sunday, June 6th at the 11am service, we will also kick off the Summer Bible Treasure Hunt. Each child will receive a Bible as well as a treasure map with 15 Bible stories that they will read with you as a family. After each completed book, check in with Pastor Nick to get it stamped off. At the end check back in with Pastor Nick to receive your treasure!
Please confirm with Pastor Nick by May 16th to make sure we have enough Bibles.

May Ministries that Matter
 Our May Ministries that Matter partner is one that is near and dear to our hearts at Faith. We are partnering with Briarwood Retreat Center. Briarwood is deeply connected to our Faith community. Maybe you had a men’s or women’s retreat there, or maybe it’s where your children went to summer camp. Briarwood is an outdoor ministry that is supported by the congregations of the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church America (That’s us). The purpose of Briarwood is to be a natural setting where people experience God’s love. Help us to continue to support this outdoor ministry, and stay tuned for our service project out at Briarwood later this month.

Graduate Recognition
The Bible tells us “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1) At Faith we like to lift up and celebrate our graduates whether HS , college, military service, or trade school. Small Group Leaders Meeting
All Small Group Leaders will meet on Sunday, June 6th after the 11am service for lunch and a time to check in and regroup. (There will also be a Zoom link available.) - Know the Safety Precautions- Masks are recommended but not required. Hand sanitation stations are placed throughout the worship area. There is still a High Risk seating section available- just indicate that you would like to sit there in your online reservation above. If you sit in the High Risk section, you will have to wear a mask. Thanks for helping us keep each other safe!
