This Sunday’s image of the life the risen Christ shares with us is the image of friendship. We are called to serve others as Jesus came to serve; but for John’s gospel, the image of servanthood is too hierarchical, too distant, to capture the essence of life with Christ. Friendship captures the love, the joy, the deep mutuality of the relationship into which Christ invites us. The Greeks believed that true friends are willing to die for each other. This is the mutual love of Christian community commanded by Christ and enabled by the Spirit. Shared from Sundays & Seasons

CtK COVID Response Team Update
|
|
After much discussion, study of local vaccination rates and virus transmission data, and prayer, we will implement Phase Four of our COVID-19 Phased Reopening Plan as of June 1, 2021.
The most noteworthy feature of CtK’s shift to Phase Four is the return to in-person Sunday worship in the CtK Sanctuary. Our first in-person worship in the sanctuary will be on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 9:30 am.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is back this summer, in a modified format! Kids will gather in-person and outside for "Knights of the North Castle" on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:00PM: June 22nd & 30th, and July 6th, 13th, & 20th.
