Tim McOsker Nails Down Pivotal Endorsement from Heavy-Hitting Labor Organization in Race for LA City Council District 15

SAN PEDRO, CA -- Further adding to his wide-ranging support from working families in the race for Los Angeles City Council District 15, today Tim McOsker, a longtime local attorney, non-profit executive, community volunteer, and former Chief of Staff to then-Mayor Jim Hahn, earned the influential endorsement of the Los Angeles/Orange County Building Trades Council.

Representing over 100,000 skilled workers, the Los Angeles/Orange County Building and Construction Trades Council is the umbrella organization that serves 48 local labor unions and district councils, in 14 trades.

In a letter sent to McOsker’s campaign in support of his candidacy as part of announcing their endorsement, LA/OC Building and Construction Trades Council Executive Secretary Ron Miller commented:

“I am happy to confirm that the Los Angeles & Orange Counties Building & Construction Trades Council Business Managers have endorsed your candidacy for City Council in the City of Los Angeles.

After reviewing your public experience and your commitment to working families, we think you will be a great asset when you are elected. Your experience will benefit all the constituents that encompass the 15th District.
