Cleveland State University, Michigan Technological University Overall Champions of 2021 Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge Events
This year's NFPA Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge was hosted in a virtual format during April 7-9 and April 14-16, 2021. Universities conducted their final student presentations to a panel of judges, marking the largest competition yet with nearly 200 students, university faculty, and industry representatives logging on to the various webinar presentations. Now Accepting Applications: Fluid Power Research Supplements
The NFPA Education and Technology Foundation is again launching its Research Supplement program from which it will award ten $5,000 research supplements to faculty members working on fluid power research at their university. The deadline to apply is July 30, 2021. Contact Lynn Beyer with questions.

Call for Grant Applications: Electrical and Data Acquisition and Controls Curricula
The NFPA University Fluid Power Grant Program will help bring fluid power curriculum into more undergraduate engineering programs across the country. For the 2021-2022 year, NFPA is looking to specifically fund university grant projects that create electrical and data acquisition and controls curricula that will ultimately be shared on the NFPA Curriculum Tree. The NFPA Foundation will provide up to $8,000 per grant. The application is open now. Contact Amy Zignego with questions.
