It’s on iTunes/Apple TV and you MUST watch it. I love behind-the-scenes views into these sorts of cultural giants of the 70s and 80s. There’s so much to learn, to appreciate, to fawn over. Like seriously, this documentary made me remember how much I actually enjoyed runway modeling much more than just editorial print. It also made me self-reflect as an entrepreneurial black woman: where do you draw the line when you’re constantly pushing and pushing and pushing? I watched the trailer for the biopic now my Boddie is READY for Ewan MacGregor channeling Halston’s terror. I might actually attend the theater in-person, especially since LA’s COVID vaccination rate is so good.
