We have an exciting update for you and one that many of our sponsors have been waiting for. We can send gifts to our sponsor kids! We are prepping boxes to be shipped to Haiti with much needed supplies. We also wanted to give you a chance to send a gift over.
We are on a time crunch as we are trying to have all items packed in the next three weeks. All gifts need to be dropped off or shipped to us by May 26th.
Sponsors:
- Gifts need to fit in a gallon size Ziploc bag. (It must be able to close, or we will have to take items out)
- You can write a letter to your sponsor child and enclose a photo if you’d like but please leave your last name off.
- Please do not send anything that will melt.
- Gift ideas include a t-shirt and/shorts, hair loop accessories for girls, belts for the boys, little toys such as cars or a small lego kit, costume jewelry, journal and pens, stickers, small coloring books. Really anything that is appropriate, won’t melt and can fit in a sealed gallon ziplock bag.
- Write child’s name on a notecard and place in the bag so we can read it.
- If you can help with shipping place a $5 or $10 bill in the bag and we will apply that toward costs.

We desperately need medicine and basic first aid supplies for our school clinic. To keep things simple, we made a wishlist on Amazon so that you can order online and it will ship directly to us. If you want to purchase somewhere else feel free to drop off as well.

We are so excited for this opportunity as we have been storing school supplies that need to get to our students but haven’t been able to take. I know how long you all have waited to be able to get gifts over as well. Thank you so much for your patience!
One more important update…
Our sponsorship numbers are low. As you know, we have been switching our sponsorship program to a new system called Pure Charity. We have contacted all sponsors to move them over but have not heard back from quite a few. Can you do us a favor? If you know you have not switched to the new system, please email us so we can get you set up. It’s super easy and only takes a few moments to complete.
