As UN procurement is increasingly focused on sustainability and ensuring a diverse and inclusive supplier base, it is in the interest of all companies to update their accounts with relevant information. Two additional indicators have been added to UNGM accounts. These refer to women-ownership and disability inclusion.

Potential suppliers are also reminded of the importance of
logging into UNGM accounts at a minimum monthly
to ensure that the account is shown as 'active' to UN buyers.
Note all the blue links lead to articles on the UNGM Help Centre.
STEP 1: Ensure that the no-reply@ungm.org and registry@ungm.org addresses are cleared and do not end in your spam inbox. UN users contacting vendors via UNGM will be writing from these email addresses. UNGM may reach out once a month with information to all potential suppliers, so you do not have to be concerned about being spammed.
STEP 2: Always log into your account when contacting us at UNGM. This allows us to help you quicker. We attempt to answer all queries within 48 hours of receiving them. If it is urgent, please mark your query as urgent.
STEP 3: Follow the steps in these articles to indicate whether your company is women-owned or is disability-inclusive:

TIP 1: Use the UNGM Help Centre to find information on the creation and management of your company account, as well as information on participating in procurement opportunities. Select the language of your choice.
TIP 2: Ensure that the information on your account is up-to-date. Your company name should be the same as it is on your legal documentation.
TIP 3: Check the contact details on your company account and add colleagues, if necessary. It is important to keep in mind that the company is the key registered entity and that contacts/colleagues, therefore, be added to the existing account and not register another/duplicate account.
TIP 4: In order to participate in a tender, it is required to have a registered status with the UN agency procuring the product/service. You can check and manage your registration status with the respective UN agencies here.
TIP 5: Read the articles about participating in tenders. Find out how to solve issues, who to contact for a tender clarification, why you cannot express interest in a tender. Please note that potential vendors registered as individual consultants are NOT able to participate in electronic tenders. Contact UNGM to assist you in resolving the issue.
Try the Tender Alert Service. It is a value-added service.
