Me, Myself and WI starts today!
Today is the start of Mental Health Awareness Week and we're delighted to launch our new initiative, Me, Myself and WI, encouraging you to take care of your mental and physical wellbeing. We have a whole host of fantastic mindful activities for members alongside several free online events open to everyone. Join us for one of the following later this week!
Peek inside WI Life! The May/June issue of WI Life has landed with members! This month's magazine is a mental wellbeing special! The beautiful cover is designed by Let's Make Jam WI member Lynn Barrow aka The Quirky Bird. We spoke to six inspiring members, who bravely shared their mental health and wellbeing stories.
On Friday 21 May from 1pm - 2.30pm, we will be hosting an exciting free webinar on ‘Women in Leadership'. You will have the chance to hear from an excellent panel of speakers who will come together to discuss the importance of having more women in leadership in tackling climate change, achieving gender equality and building towards Covid-19 recovery.
'A New Route for Local Bus Services'
As part of our Get on Board campaign, we recently launched a report which calls on both local and national Governments to take action to enable an adequate provision of bus services.
