Hafa Adai Rotarians,
This month is Youth Service Month in the Rotary calendar and what a coincidence, our girls softball team the “Rotary Rails” start their season on May 22. Focusing on getting kids out of the house to exercise and socialize is probably more important than it has ever been. A friend of mine that coaches a youth team stated that his players came out of isolation plump and whiter, like little marshmallows. Fortunately, sports are starting to open back up and kids are getting active.
If you would like to help support our Rotary Rails, we have fan shirts available for only $25 (pay at our meeting or we can charge it to you). Wear them with pride and know that these girls are going for the championship!
This week’s speaker is a friend of the Club and draws in a good crowd. Former Governor Carl Guiterrez will address us regarding our island’s progress and plans for opening tourism again. There is no doubt that this is a meeting you will not want to miss. See you there!
GO ROTARY RAILS!!!
Y’R
