The Albright Reconciling Group (ARC) at Albright UMC in Ponca City, OK, gets positive press from Ponca City News about their stance as an affirming, inclusive community.

Speaking about the WCA's plans for a new denomination, one anti-LGBTQ conservative United Methodist pastor feels it's unfair to be held accountable for harm done to LGBTQ people, claiming that “infinitely more harm is caused by spineless and sentimental church leaders who misrepresent the truth because they like being liked by people more than they like people loving Jesus." UMNS reports.

The Judicial Council releases decisions regarding the New Jersey Annual Conference's 2019 special session, which focused on a plan that would allow churches to decide how to include and affirm LGBTQ people in every aspect of ministry while still allowing other congregations the right to "agree to disagree." UMNS reports.
