Paving the way for Can-SOLVE CKD 2.0
 
The Can-SOLVE CKD Network recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, marking five exceptional years dedicated to advancing patient-oriented kidney research - but the network has no intention of slowing down.

In planning for "Can-SOLVE CKD 2.0," 44 network members, including researchers, patient partners, and staff, came together this past April for a third meeting of the Can-SOLVE CKD Sustainability Planning Committee.

Dr. York Pei and Dr. Amit Garg recieve KFOC Medal for Research Excellence 

Two Can-SOLVE CKD Network researchers have been honoured by the kidney community for their contributions to improving kidney health research.
 
Dr. York Pei and Dr. Amit Garg were named recipients of the Kidney Foundation of Canada Medal for Research Excellence for 2020 and 2021, respectively, at the recent Canadian Society of Nephrology virtual Annual General Meeting.

International Clinical Trials Day 

May 20 was International Clinical Trials Day! This special occasion is celebrated around the world each May to recognize the day in 1747 that James Lind started what is often considered the first randomized clinical trial.

Across the Can-SOLVE CKD Network, we are committed to the same spirit of participatory research and are proud to celebrate the patient partners and clinical professionals who contribute every day to public health and medical progress. Canadian Society of Nephrology AGM 2021
