Art in Bloom Update

Get Your Tickets Now!

We began 2021 knowing that we would need to remain flexible and open to changing our plans and expectations. Just prior to our Art In Bloom show and sale in April, we found ourselves at just such a juncture.
We are happy to announce that we have new dates for Art In Bloom, which is now scheduled to be held Saturday, June 5th, and Sunday, June 6th. We were unable to hold everyone's original registration for the original event. So if you would like to attend the show on one of its new dates, please register here for a time to enter the show. The show is free to attend, but due to COVID, we must limit the number of people in the building. Tickets are going fast, so sign up today!

To Our Veterans

Take a Class on Us

Are you a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces who would like to take an art class at the Village Arts Factory? Through a grant from the Canton Community Foundation, the Village Arts Factory will be offering veterans, free pottery classes, at the Cherry Hill Potters Guild, and free painting classes at D & M Art Studios. The next session of pottery classes will begin in September.

Painting classes can begin right away. Sign up now, as classes fill up quickly! Call our Executive Director, Wendy Harless, at 1-734-765-7061 or email her at director@partnershipforarts.org to sign up for free classes. Proof of military service is required at the time of registration.

Join Us For Fun and Flowers!

As of this writing, there are only a handful of tickets still available for our “Perennials, Pottery, Paint and More” fundraiser event on May 23rd. It includes a plant sale out in front of our historic Ford Factory, information about ways to be environmentally friendly,  how to keep our watershed clean, and more! Click here to register for the event.

Inside our Warehouse building, we will be offering a silent auction on some beautiful items and “Art Experience Tickets”. Buy tickets and use them inside at your favorite art studio to learn something new about art and being creative. If the regulations for COVID-19 have been relaxed by May 23rd, we may release more timed tickets to enter the building, so be sure to watch our social media channels for updates.

Speaking up for the Arts

There is no denying that the unexpected loss of revenue and employment for people in the arts community over the past year due to COVID-19 threatens everything the VAF stands for. We urge you to help support the amazing arts community in Southeast Michigan by clicking here to let our legislators know that you think the arts are important.
