Holding On To Hope:
A Client's Tale

“I first met Jacqui LeBeau almost ten years ago.   A friend recommended her to me as I was really struggling with my father’s untimely death at 54 years old. That first meeting I was very nervous and guarded, skeptical even.  As soon as I met Jacqui, I was reassured by her very presence; her compassionate, kindhearted energy was immediately palpable.  It initially took us a few tries to figure out the imagery and messaging she was receiving from my spirit guides.  For a split second I was discouraged, and then suddenly it was as if the pieces of the puzzle came together and I was communicating directly with my dad! I could feel his energy and Jacqui was relaying facts and information in a way that only my dad would.  I found myself laughing at his jokes (although these were lost on Jacqui) and at one point even forgot she was in the room!  This session was a real gift for me in so many ways.  It was then I was able to better understand life and death and the role our departed loved ones, as well as the function of our spirit guides in our everyday life. Mostly, it brought me great peace and reassurance and I was finally able to come to terms with my dad’s sudden passing.

It was also that first session that Jacqui told me that I would own an orange cat which she specifically referred to as “gold“ in color.  For years I told her that this was a mistake, a miscommunication, as I am deathly allergic to cats and have very bad asthma.  To which Jacqui said, “Well I don’t know what to tell you, I keep seeing your daughter with this gold cat”.
Fast forward almost ten years and series of exceptional circumstances later… we now own an orange Persian cat named Theodore, that my daughter refers to as her “gold kitty” and best friend.

Ever since then I have turned to Jacqui to navigate all of life’s greatest decisions and challenges.  Most recently, my husband and I struggled with a 2 ½ year battle with infertility.  We desperately wanted our daughter to have a sibling and after 1 ½ years of trying to conceive with many doctors’ visits, lab tests, and procedures later I turned to Jacqui for guidance as I had all but given up hope that I would get pregnant.  With the help of my spirit guides, Jacqui told me quite definitively, “No this is definitely happening.  You will have a little boy that will be very easy going and sweet natured and he will have curly hair”.  So, we continued on our journey with IVF.  During the darkest, loneliest, most discouraging times I was able to hold onto that hope that we would eventually become pregnant.

Fast forward two years later… I am 8 months pregnant with a little boy!  We could not be more grateful to Jacqui for sharing her gift with us and giving us hope during the most hopeless times.  It has truly been a gift to get to know Jacqui and be able to rely in her for guidance when life becomes most challenging. As for this baby’s hair, we’ll just have to wait and see!”

SPIRITUAL GROWTH EXERCISE OF THE MONTH
Energy Up – Energy Down – Energy Neutral

Have you ever walked into a store and felt instantly uplifted and inspired, and yet walked into another seemingly similar store and felt dull and lackluster? You likely are picking up on the “energy” there.

In physics, energy is how things change and move. However, in modern usage, energy is also referred to be an intangible force (often characterized as either “positive” or “negative”) that is thought to emanate from a person, a place or a thing; it’s a vibe, or a feeling. And the truth is that even if we can’t quantify it via science, it is never-the-less real

One Energy Exercise that I learned from Denise Linn when I took her Certified Clutter Coach program has served me well. Try it. I think that it will dramatically affect your life. Denise calls it Energy Up – Energy Down – Energy Neutral. Here’s how it works. Enter into a space – perhaps a room in your home – and close your eyes. Ask yourself, “When I entered this room did it feel like my energy went up, did it go down, or did it stay the same?” If your body feels expanded and light, your energy went up. If you feel compressed and dull, your energy went down. And if it stays the same, this is called Energy Neutral. You can use this method for places, but also around people. For example, ask yourself, “When I’m around this person does my energy feel like it’s going up, going down, or is it neutral?

Here’s the thing. If you consistently find that a situation, or a place, or a person zaps your energy, change the course…find ways to not spend time with that person or in that place. And inversely, if your energy goes up, find ways to spend MORE time in that place or with that person. It can make a huge difference in your life.

Brag All You Want About Your Dog or Cat!
Why we Love National Pet Month - May

Did you that about 80 million homes in America have an animal family member? And about half of those households have more than one? During these unusual Pandemic times, more and more families added a new pet to their family. Maybe you did too!

Whether you've got a dog, cat, bird, fish, horse, rabbit, chicken, snake, hamster, or any other pet, National Pet Month is a celebration of the benefits that pets bring to people's lives - and vice versa.

It also supports pet adoption. National Pet Month promotes the benefits of pet ownership and supports pet adoption. It also gives us free reign to dote on our “best friends” all month!

1.    It's socially acceptable bragging time
Let’s be real: most of us are determined to prove to everyone that our pet is the best out of all the animals we know. Hopefully, National Pet Month this makes us marginally less annoying when we wax poetic about our dog’s latest frisbee trick.

2.    It’s a great excuse to spoil your pet
Like you need one, but it’s still nice to have an excuse to buy your pet presents both of you can enjoy together. So, get that adorable sweater for your cat to hate or even that collection of multi-colored tennis balls for your dog to destroy.

Happy Mother's Day!

Of course, we should celebrate moms EVERY DAY, but May 9th is Mother's Day this year!

We spoil mom, maybe bring her some flowers or her favorite chocolates, or even breakfast in bed!

And yes, dog & cat moms, and pet moms in general....you count too!

For those who have lost their mom, remember to look out for a sign or a symbol...she will let you know she is there!
