Historic Driving Tour goes virtual - join us May 11
The Historic Preservation Review Commission is hosting its 7th Annual Historic Driving Tour on Tuesday, May 11, only this time it's virtual! Join us on Zoom to explore the Animas Canyon Toll Road, Electra Lake and Tacoma Power Plant.

- Buffalo Arena temporary use permit
The Planning Commission will consider a request for a Temporary Use Permit to hold equestrian events May 29 through September 25 on a 65-acre site at 664 High Lama Lane.
May 27
- Zion Farms Marijuana cultivation facility
The Planning Commission will consider a proposal to convert an existing hemp operation into a marijuana cultivation facility. No retail sales or distribution is proposed on the site, located at 4092 CR 510 in Ignacio.
- Ryker minor subdivision
The Planning Commission will consider a proposal to subdivide a 2.34 acre parcel into two lots of 1.331 and 1.001 acres. at 29703 US Highway 160 and 732 CR 233 in Durango.

- Tacoma Village Conceptual Development Plan second amendment
The Board of County Commissioners will consider a second amendment to the Tacoma Village Conceptual Development Plan to reduce the single-family units by one and increase the townhome units by one. The overall CDP density remains at 299 residential units. The projected is located on Tacoma Drive on all parcels within the village plan area.
- Tacoma Village Lakeside Duplexes preliminary plat and plan
The Board of County Commissioners will consider a preliminary plat and plan for 13 duplexes resulting in 26 total units built in several phases on 3.2 acres at 114 Tacoma Drive.
- La Plata Archuleta Water District resolution
The Board of County Commissioners will consider a resolution approving inclusion of certain properties into the La Plata Archuleta Water District within the Bayfield Service Area and clarifying some procedures within the service plan.
