Have you ever had a Thursday that  suddenly became a Friday? Well, we have. As you'll see below, it was an exciting week, and next week -- our last before Intensives -- promises to be the same.

Update on the Academic Program & Crediting Process
 
Thanks to all of you who joined us on Tuesday over Zoom for an update on the academic program and the crediting process. Highlights included the opportunity to hear from members of our team about the Self-Directed Learning Micros and the Credit Pre-Application process. We also had a truly special treat: we were joined by Scott Looney, Head of Hawken School, as well as Mike Flanagan, the CEO of the Mastery Transcript Consortium, who shared updates on how the transcript is being received by colleges and shared a demo. Important May Days

On Tuesday, May 11, there will be a portfolio review day for faculty to read student credit portfolios. Macro classes will meet remotely, and the campus will be closed for students. Thank you so much, as always, for your flexibility. 

We will have an Activities Shuttle available on Tuesday. Sign up here.

On Wednesday May 12 and Thursday May 13, students will get feedback on their initial credit portfolios from a panel of faculty through our Credit Pre-Application Process. This process is designed to give students helpful feedback on their work and a good sense of what their next steps could be in building a portfolio for their chosen credit. Students will learn more about the schedule for these review panel meetings on Monday.

Feminist Club Lends a Hand with Your Help


The Feminist Club wanted to inform you all that we will be holding an Items Drive on Wednesday 5.12 supporting Laura's Home Women's Crisis Center.

There will be Bins in AC 1 and AC 3 (Where you get your Temperature taken in the Morning).
