So... It's been awhile. :) Very Occasional in 2021 turns out to mean "let's take a five-month break." *le sigh* Obviously, the past 14 months or so have been far from stress-free for ANY of us, and as a teacher, I've had to reinvent the wheel a few times already. Most recently, when I went back to teaching hybrid last month. It's been pretty crazy, but worth it! It's SO nice to see my students again. I just wish we could ditch all the technology hassles and other crazy-sauce issues, and get back to a more "normal" New Normal. :) Hopefully soon!
Meanwhile, I do have some book news: DAMNING THE DEAD (Book Three of The Dead Series) finally came back from my editor this week! (Also after five months - I sent it to her in mid-December!) I'm working through her edits now, and am hoping for a fast turnaround, with maybe publication this summer?? It will depend on what else my publisher (The Wild Rose Press) has lined up ahead of me, so keep your fingers crossed, and I'll keep you posted!
Additionally, once school gets out, I'm going to publish my next romantic suspense, THE PRINCESS SHOPPE. I can't believe it's been almost TWO YEARS since PUBLISH OR PERISH came out. *headdesk* Where has the time gone??

That's it for now! Teaching high school math to middle school students, in a combo hybrid-distance-learning model, is kicking my behind right now. But I'll be powering through the above-mentioned edits on DAMNING THE DEAD, while writing book four (BURYING THE DEAD), and - hopefully!! - finally starting on the audio versions of books one and two (DEBRIEFING THE DEAD and WAKING THE DEAD, respectively). So I'm not overloading myself or anything - LOL!
