Democrats! I hope you're having a good week. 

I want to direct your attention to a couple of important things:

First, the special election in Congressional District 1 to replace Deb Haaland is moving into its final three weeks. If you plan to donate, do it now! Our next DPSJC phonebank for Melanie Stansbury will be this Tuesday at 11am. 

Second, we are in the early stages of planning what we hope to be a blockbuster golf tournament fundraiser at Riverview Golf Course in Kirtland on July 10. We need all the help we can get- this is our chance to set the stage for successful election cycles in fall 2021 and 2022. We need golfers, donors, volunteers, and more!

Your executive committee has decided to host our May General Party meeting in-person at an outdoor picnic shelter at Brookside Park on May 20 at 7pm. 
We made this decision because the covid vaccines are widely available and an increasing number of people are now fully vaccinated. In addition, recent guidance from the CDC has clarified that outdoor events are relatively less likely to spread the virus. If you feel comfortable attending, bring your favorite dish to share or just bring yourself!
