“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
that saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found,
was blind but now I see”
“If we didn’t have Cru on our campus, we’d all be lost”. These were the words Jarret (a student at Penn Highlands) shared during one of our last meetings of the semester. I want to make it clear, this is not about Cru. Cru is simply a tool God uses to point others towards Him. This is about God. Because God sent His one and only Son to die for us, we are not lost if we chose to accept Him. (Side note: If you ever want to talk more about this or anything else in this letter, please don’t hesitate to reach out <3)
“If we didn’t have God on our campus, we’d all be lost”, but God is on that campus and He’s working through you and me (thank you for partnering with me) to make His name known. God (not Cru) is our only true source of hope, and because God opened the door for Cru, there is now a campus ministry at Penn Highlands sharing that hope with the many lost students. Thank you for helping make that possible!
