Digital conversion in the Nordic Arctic Rehabilitation project
Arctic Consensus is project manager for the three-year project, Nordic Arctic Rehabilitation, which has received funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a need for a digital conversion of the activities in the second year of the project.

The project sees Nordic Arctic participation through the municipalities of Tórshavn, Sermersooq and Aalborg. There has been a heavy focus on developing competencies and physical employee exchanges. Both among the municipalities, but also across professionals working with rehabilitation. Due to COVID-19, the physical employee exchanges had to be converted into digital exchanges in the shape of online workshops.

It has proven to be essential to have a rather fixed structure in the digital solution. The structure ensures that the participants understand and feel safe in the format. Furthermore, this also ensures the best possible outcome and that participants understand the workflow in the workshop.

Even though few elements may be lost in not having physical exchanges, the digital conversion has exceeded the expectations of the project management team, the steering committee, and the participants.

All this is just part of the story of Elisabeth Petersen, who on 23 April completed the apprenticeship exam for the gastronomy education in TECHCOLLEGE in Aalborg. Arctic Consensus has had the pleasure of meeting Elisabeth and hearing about her education.
