Thy Kingdom Come
Christians from Churches across the town and wider area are invited to join together in the Thy Kingdom Come Initiative taking place from 13-23 May. Locally, there will be 5 nights of Prayer Meetings via Zoom an everyone is invited to join in as many nights as possible as together we seek to 'Light up Tunbridge Wells with prayer' and see God's Kingdom Come and His will be done in Tunbridge Wells as in heaven. Different Churches will be leading each evening of prayer which will take place from 8-9pm on:
Monday 17 May
Tuesday 18 May
Wednesday 19 May
Thursday 20 May
Friday 21 May
Zoom Links will be sent out next week so be on the lookout for them and join in with the wider Body of Christ to pray for our town, our nation, our world.
As part of the Thy Kingdom Come Initiative, we are inviting people to get out and Prayer Walk their local street or local area. Please feel free to Prayer Walk at any time, or any day, but we have specifically set aside Wednesday 19 May and Saturday 22 May to invite and encourage people to join with others from within your congregation, or join with other Christians on your street to pray walk your locality. Please register the roads you have prayed for by emailing them to prayerforourstreets@twcf.org

Rock UK Adventure Centres Administrator - Carroty Wood, Tonbridge, Kent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £17,688.15 + £1,500 South East Weighting per annum
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term (12 months) initially, with possibility to extend
We are looking for a full-time Administrator to join our busy admin team at Carroty Wood outdoor adventure centre - part of Rock UK, a Christian charity. If you have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, this role could be for you.
The successful applicant will deal with all aspects of the bookings process for both residential groups and day visitors attending our centre. You will liaise with customers by phone, email and in person, to take bookings, create programmes for their visit and answer all enquiries. Attention to detail and a friendly telephone manner are essential. Experience with on-line booking systems and invoicing is highly desirable although full training will be provided.
The significant direct customer-facing aspects of the role requires the post-holder to appropriately represent Rock UK’s Christian ethos and values to groups.
This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant is a Christian who is committed to the values, beliefs and behaviours set out in our ethos statement.

St Stephen’s Church, Tonbridge Children and Families’ Minister Vacancy
Hours: full time
Salary: £26,000 per annum (plus contributory pension)
We already have a thriving children and families’ ministry both inside the church and outside in the community, but we’re keen to grow this. So we’re seeking a dedicated Children and Families’ Minister with the passion and enthusiasm to see others grow deeper in their relationship with God.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who loves to help children love Jesus, while also having loads of fun in the process! You’ll be a team player, working alongside our staff team and also our dedicated team of volunteers.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong personal Christian faith and the ability to share this dynamically and relevantly with young people and young adults. They will also be a self-starter, who has the ability to lead – as well as serve alongside – our fabulous team of volunteers.
