Issue 15: Hitchhikers, History and Reading Hour!
Welcome to the fifteenth edition of the B&NES Library Volunteers newsletter, The 331.
In this edition we're continuing the World Book Night celebrations, point you in the direction of some fab resources for game lovers, tell you what we'll be celebrating in May, ask you to share your favourite books and introduce our new eMagazine and eComics app!
Libraries Update: Bath Central, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton Libraries are open for customer browsing and the collection of reservations, from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
There will be some changes in place to protect public health, and these are:
- Main library areas will be available for browsing following social distancing protocols
- Public computers can be used for a 30 minute session on a first come first serve basis. There are no printing facilities at Midsomer Norton Library.
- Self study areas will remain closed
- Books should still be returned through the designated drop-boxes on the ground floor and main entrance of Bath Central Library, and at the entrances of Keynsham and Midsomer Norton Libraries
- Face coverings are required in our libraries, unless you have a special exemption, in line with the latest government guidance on face coverings
- The number of people entering the library at any one time will be limited
- Follow social distancing protocols and use hand sanitisers provided
