21ST MAY - ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY
Mrs McLaren (ex-WGS parent) from the Rhisotope Project charity recently got in touch with us, asking if we could complete some research across the school, and it made us think it would be a nice idea to raise some money to prevent Rhino poaching. On Friday 21st May, which is National Endangered Species Day across the world, we ask that every child in the school will bring in £1 to dress up as an endangered animal of their choice. On this day, we will have a competition for the three best costumes across the three key stages and the winners will get a small prize. We would love it if your children could participate. Thank you

BREAKFAST CLUB
When dropping your child off to breakfast club, from now on please could you bring them straight to the hall. Masks will need to be worn. Thank you.

MAGIC BOOKING FOR AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Please note that after school care bookings can be made no later than 9.15am on the same day to ensure that our chef has enough notice for catering requirements. We do, of course, understand there are sometimes the odd last minute emergencies in which case please email Mrs Nicholas as she is happy to make the booking on your behalf.

BLAZERS
Blazers are part of the summer school uniform so please make sure these are worn instead of the winter Stormdri jackets. The sports purple fleeces should be kept in school for sports and outdoor play and not worn as a summer jacket.
