The DVD we are making available online this week is the DVD by Dr Randall Smith, God Answers by Fire - Elijah and the Prophets of Baal. Thereafter it will be available again on www.kerugma.org The reason why we are making this one available for free for this week, is because part of the Afrikaans message is about 1 Kings 17 to 19, and the footage shown in this video contributes to being able to visualize the elements related in the story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal. When God wants to start a movement, He never raises up a committee, He raises up a leader. 1 Kings 17 – 18 records the preparation of Elijah to be the leader God needed at the time.
From Mount Carmel you can have a breathtaking view of Israel from the Mediterranean Sea in the west to Mount Hermon in the north and the Jordan River in the east. All the different elements of the story of Elijah and the Baal prophets can be visualized, including the brook Kishon, where the priests of Baal were slain.
This DVD is truly a must see; it is an important message for the time of apostasy we are living in.
