It’s been over a year since the pandemic hit, causing unprecedented hunger and hardship for far too many families. During that time, we’ve witnessed hunger heroes all over the country moving mountains to make sure kids in their communities get the food they need to thrive.

Now, it’s time to say thank you!

• This week, No Kid Hungry began highlighting the stories of these heroes. We encourage you to join us by using this digital toolkit to share your own messages of gratitude on our Digital Gratitude Board and on social media.
• And on May 7^th, we hope you’ll join @NoKidHungry and @NoKidHungryNC on Twitter for a National School Lunch Hero Day Twitterstorm, using #ThankAHungerHero to show your appreciation for the amazing folks in your community working to ensure kids get the nutrition they need every day.
