Welcome Dr. Evan Shannon to GIM Clinical Research Faculty
Dr. Evan Shannon comes to us from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he is completing a research fellowship in Hospital Medicine as Chief Medical Resident. There he is an active mentor and teacher of medical students. This is a return to the west coast for him, having attended Stanford for undergraduate, medical school at UCSF and completed his MPH in Epidemiology here at our Fielding School of Public Health. Dr. Shannon's research looks at inequities and racial and ethnic disparities in health care. He will do his clinical work as a hospitalist at our GLAHS VA Medical Center.
