GROCERY DELIVERY

May at Driver's Market

We're happy to announce extended Summer hours! Starting today, the Market will be open from 8:00 am - 8:30 pm every day. Many of our Deli offerings are back -- take a look at what's new in Insight. Last month's Mindful Moments session was rescheduled due to rain. Don't miss this great opportunity for kids and families on Sunday, May 2!

MARKET SPOTLIGHT

Hu Kitchen

Jordan Brown and Jessica Karp’s goal when they opened Hu Kitchen in Manhattan wasn’t just to get by with healthier food, but to dig deeper into the quality and origin of the food they offer customers. They are inspired by organic food’s ability to heal the body, and want to help people “get back to human” and thrive. Their chocolates are vegan and paleo, using 70% stone ground dark chocolate, and fair trade cacao.

Keep an eye out for new Hu products as they expand into grain-free snacks!

Botnia

Justine Kahn’s local skincare line started in her backyard. An aesthetician, Justine always felt the facial products she used with her clients were missing something. Then she bought a home in Sausalito with a big, wild yard. Justine built an organic garden, knowing that the medicinal plants she grew could heal skin. She learned to make serums, and worked with a plant biologist who helped her find the perfect formulations...and Botnia was born!

Many ingredients in Botnia serums come from Justine’s Sausalito micro-farm.

AROUND THE TABLE AT DRIVER'S

Mindful Moments

With Spring Smith

RESCHEDULED to Sunday, May 2, from 11 am - 12 noon

At Fort Baker Parade Ground in Sausalito • Meet in the Parade Ground meadow on Center Road, across from the Bay Area Discovery Museum

This event is FREE with your RSVP • Masking and Social Distancing protocol in place

Things are constantly in flux, especially for our kids, and protocols keep changing. As we mark the one year anniversary of the pandemic, holistic practitioner Spring Smith is offering an outdoor session to help kids and their families slow down and connect through mindfulness.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention in the moment without judgement. Regular practice allows our nervous system to rest and reset, helping to clear the mind or calm emotions. The sessions will be a chance for families to get outside and connect. Participants will follow social distancing and masking guidelines. Youth will learn skills to: • Manage emotions • Develop peer relationships • Develop empathy • Strengthen focus • Find the rhythm of nature

The course is facilitated by Spring Smith, Mindfulness Educator, holistic practitioner, and mom. Spring completed the training curriculum offered by Mindful Schools and has had extensive experience teaching mindfulness to youth and adults of all ages.
