It is about a wild cheetah family who overcame adversity through the quick and decisive action of the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve wildlife management team.

Galpin Tented Camp's new 4 night wilderness immersion is the ideal setting for groups of friends and families.

Into the Wild offers 4 nights of delving deeper into the Kwandwe Reserve, complete with engaging in the behind the scenes work of their conservation efforts, learning life skills of being in the bush, and of course, having loads of fun!

Booked on exclusive basis only, the group has a dedicated guide, tracker and vehicle, as they navigate their way through the various activities doing everything from building and starting a fire (without matches) to then cook over the open fire, to veld rehabilitation and assisting with large animal immobilisation.

4 nights: From ZAR 19 000 per person plus ZAR 6 000 conservation fee.
Minimum stay 4 nights. Rate from based on 6 guests in a group.

[TUESDAY TALKS] Postponed to July

With some exciting new projects in the pipeline, requiring myself and my team to be away from our desks, we have decided to delay the restart of our webinar series.

We will let you know as soon as we have a set date to continue these chats. But to build up your South Africa GEES (pronounced HEE-is; meaning "spirit" in Afrikaans), we leave with you this fun fact:

99% of the world's Blue Cranes population is found in South Africa,
and is thus a fitting choice as the national bird.

I cannot believe it is already May! This year seems to be flying by at a rapid rate and while we all feel frustrated by the slow pace of our industry resuming, there certainly is enough to keep us busy at Classics. We look forward to sharing our updates with you over the months ahead.
