What the pandemic did to rural charities

ACRE (Action in Communities in Rural England) have published their report into the impact of the pandemic on rural voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations.  The report highlights the fine balance between the increase of demand on the sector and the increase in pressure on organisations’ financial sustainability.  To read the report please click the button below.  To read about the impact on Norfolk’s VCSE sector, please click here

Get Ready for Volunteers Week

We think we cannot thank volunteers enough.  They are the mainstay of our organisations from carrying out our vital work to being Trustees on our Boards.  Volunteers Week runs from Tues 1st June to Mon 7th June and is the perfect opportunity for us to show off all that our volunteers do in Norfolk.  The teams at Community Action Norfolk and Voluntary Norfolk are joining forces to create resources for you to help thank your volunteers and encourage new ones.  We’ll be sharing the resources soon, watch this space!

Join the new Voluntary Norfolk Network!

Voluntary Norfolk are proud and excited to launch a new free network programme for all local charities, community groups and social enterprises working in Norfolk, which will replace the old Voluntary Norfolk/Momentum membership scheme.  The Voluntary Norfolk Network will be a platform for groups to share ideas, skills and resources; receive information and updates about the sector and invitations to join networking events and training workshops. Being part of the network will strengthen an organisation’s relationships with other VCSE organisations, will help the development of partnerships and enable more effective collaboration between peers.   Find out more by clicking the button below, or Join the Network now using their online form.
