Business and marketing strategy support for SINCERE’s Innovation Actions

An innovative and sustainable business modelling tool featured in a series of online clinics supporting SINCERE’s Innovation Action case study partners to review and refine their business model.

The Sustainable Start CANVAS Methodology tool offers a holistic approach to business and marketing strategies, integrating social, human and ecological components, with a strategic vision, to create and deliver a triple value proposition within a product or service.

The clinics supported four of SINCERE’s Innovation Actions (IAs) to revisit and rethink their business and marketing strategy for their case study.

SINCERE Talks #1: Forests and water

The first SINCERE Talks webinar (25 September 2020) gave participants a fascinating insight into the complex and changing relationship between forests and water. Renowned experts Meine van Noordwijk (ICRAF) and Sven Wunder (EFI) presented key issues: how forest management affects hydrological services; and how payment for environmental services schemes can support such management.

The online debate, organised jointly by the SINCERE project and European Integrate Network, brought policy makers, practitioners, researchers and conservationists together to consider how the future policy framework might increase the resilience and sustainability of Europe’s forests and how new legislation might affect people working with forest ecosystem services in practice.

Adaptive solutions required to fit forests for cultural and recreational use
