Second Chance Center works with returning citizens to help them become the best possible version of themselves, and a big part of that is being a part of a larger community. Beginning on April 16th and continuing Fridays through July, Second Chance Center will be offering a free equity vaccine clinic at our new offices. Returning citzens will be volunteering hand in hand with Dr. Alok Sarwal, Colorado Alliance for Health Equity, Carlos Franco-Paredes, University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Center, Zion Temple Church, volunteers and other community partners to ensure equal access to the COVID vaccine.
We know that the work we do, helping people transition to lives of success and fulfilment, is a matter of community health and safety, so stepping into this space is a natural progression of our mission. Join us at our new offices located at 224 Potomac Aurora, CO 80011, as we give back to the community who has welcomed us so warmly and ensure that vaccines are available to all!
Clinics will be held on Fridays from 10:00-2:00 Through June with the exception of May 28th. The vaccine being used is Moderna. Second doses will be scheduled at time of first vaccine.
Free and open to all. No ID required, No Insurance required, Eligibility for 18 years and up.
