MONTHLY MINDFULNESS PRACTICE

April Community of Practice Highlights

We had a wonderful Community of Practice gathering last month.  Peace of Mind founder Linda Ryden,  amazing educators from Wells Middle School, St. Andrews Episcopal School and Lafayette Elementary School, and three of our Peace of Mind Student Ambassadors shared their favorite mindfulness practices with us.   We hope their suggestions will be helpful to you, too!

TAKE ACTION

Learn More About Teaching Social Justice

Helping our kids make sense of the world we live in has never felt more important. We have created Peace of Mind's Social Justice Resources to help you have challenging conversations with your students about bias, stereotypes, discrimination, race and racism, and standing up for what you believe in.

Are you a little hesitant to dive in to these lessons with your kids?  To help you prepare, we have curated and compiled a reading and watching list of resources that we've found helpful.  Have a look here and dive in!

Thank you so much for sharing your time with us. We hope you will help us spread the word about Peace of Mind by sharing this newsletter and leaving us a review on Amazon.    We are by educators for educators, and your recommendations mean so much!   Thank you.

 In peace,
Cheryl, Linda and The Peace of Mind team
